Not every story that gets published gets reprinted, collected in hardcover or softcover, or even catalogued. Some tales fall through the cracks and are forgotten or overlooked for years or decades. These tales might be minor efforts, poorly written, or just had the bad luck to fail to attract an audience, slipping out of mind despite the sometimes feverish efforts of fans to collect every bit of data.
By and large, these are works of fiction that are outside the normal remit of the blog. They may or may not be weird fiction, they may or may not be Mythos fiction, or by noted authors of the weird, but they are generally not by or about women, LGBTQ+, or BIPOC folks. They are outside the normal scope of reviews, but interesting for their context and tangential connection to Weird Tales, the Lovecraft circle, or some other element that makes them worthy of attention. They are also, as near as I have been able to determine, in the public domain. So please enjoy these lost tales.
